Supporting local businesses and passion-led ventures has always been an important part of my work. For me, great projects are not solely defined by commercial value, but by the opportunity to contribute meaningful support and help ambitious people grow through strong digital platforms and marketing strategy.
Rolfe and Son is a family run business that has cleaned my family’s windows for more than 15 years. Over that time, I’ve personally witnessed the company evolve through dedication, trust, hard work, and deliver an exceptional standard of service. What began as a small local operation has grown into a respected business with hundreds of loyal customer relationships across the region.
Through many conversations with owner Jake Rolfe, we often discussed the company’s ambitions and long-term growth plans. Over the last five years, the business has expanded significantly, now operating multiple vans and employing a team of local professionals who consistently deliver the company’s customer first ethos.
Jake approached me to help bring a more modern marketing strategy to the business, combining traditional outreach with a stronger digital presence. Our first collaboration began two years ago with the production of a promotional video campaign released across social media platforms.
Since then, the project has developed into a wider digital marketing initiative designed to complement Rolfe and Son’s large-scale local flyering campaigns and support expansion into new service areas. As part of this strategy, I designed and developed a new website that gives the business greater flexibility with content, marketing, and customer engagement.
The new website also introduces an e-commerce functionality, enabling Rolfe and Son to promote seasonal products, service packages, and tailored offerings more effectively. This proactive approach allows the company to respond to customer demand in real time while streamlining service enquiries and bookings.
A key part of the strategy was identifying underserved customer needs within the industry. Many specialist or niche services are often overlooked through broad, generic marketing approaches. By listening closely to customer feedback, Rolfe and Son are now able to showcase and promote these services clearly through their new digital platform, creating a more personalised and responsive customer experience.
Accompanying the new site is a range of social content that is playing its part as a supporting digital ad campaign. Here are the first of a series of reels and stories that I have created to aid communications during the marketing campaign.
